Our Classes

Salsa is not just spicy, it’s memory, culture and identity.

The Story Starts Here

Simple, fresh ingredients can become something incredible. We begin with everyday elements and show how the right process and balance transform them into bold, unforgettable salsas full of flavor and character.

How You Cook It Changes Everything

The same chile tastes nothing alike when it's fresh, fire-roasted, or fried. You'll move from ancient grinding techniques to modern emulsification — and taste exactly why each method creates something completely unique.

The Best Part: You Eat Everything

Every salsa you make ends up on the table. Paired with totopos, chicharrón, and quesadillas, you'll taste how each technique brings out something completely different — and leave with four recipes to recreate it all at home.

WHO IS THIS ACTIVITY FOR?

Our Story

We're Miel and Silvia — certified tour guides, food lovers, and storytellers with roots across Mexico. Born in Mexico City, shaped by the flavors of Oaxaca, Zacatecas, and Hidalgo, and now calling Puerto Vallarta home, we've spent our lives surrounded by the regional traditions and stories that make Mexican cuisine one of the richest in the world.

For over 7 years we've shared that passion with travelers from around the globe. Our workshops aren't just about learning to make salsa — they're about understanding where those flavors come from, why they matter, and taking a piece of Mexico home with you.
